Superintendent Briefing March 30, 2018

We have some great activities occurring throughout the district.  As we continue to strive to make NPPSD a great school district, it will be important to work collectively in achieving greatness.  Anytime you have greatness occurring at your school, please share so we build upon each other’s strengths.  Thank you for the great work!

NPPSD
                         Creating GREATNESS

April 4, 2018
 Paraprofessional Appreciation Day
&
School Librarian Day
 Creating Greatness in our schools!!

Thank you for all the hard work and great experiences you provide each and every day to the students and staff.

Students Should Be Taught Not to Talk to Strangers: It is important that the students are taught the importance of not talking to strangers.

Students Bags Should Be Searched from Time to Time to Prevent Them from Bringing in Dangerous Weapons into the School: This is so that they do not bring in dangerous weapons that can endanger the lives of students.
School Safety Committees should be Setup in Schools to Review Security Practices from Time to Time: A security panel should be put in schools and then the findings and solutions that are determined should be reviewed from time to time
Get Involved. Talk with the principal about what you can do to increase school safety, such as organizing parents to form a neighborhood watch before and after school. Sometimes parent groups are highly successful in making improvements in traffic safety during drop off and pick up times.

Stories are the fuel for innovation.  If you want to help people embrace a new narrative, the best way is to create that new narrative is together. What is the story of your school?
What is GREAT about your school?
